Raffaele (Gerbera) Sarcina was born in Canosa di Puglia, Italy, in 1987. He graduated in Graphics at Academy of Fine Arts of Foggia and than in Academy of Fine Arts of Bari. Courrently lives in Barcelona (Spain) working as manager of EINA (Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona) graphic techniques laboratory. Exibitions: collective Open Art 20X20 at La Maldita Estampa (Barcelona) 2021, Amalgama Grafica III Internacional Contemporanea at La Maldita Estampa, 2020; solo exibition “Der Doppelganger”, a series of illustrations in etching, aquotint, mezzotint and screenprinting about uncanny figure of Double in 2017 at the EINA Espai Barra de Ferro (EINA); collective “Urban gallery” at the Foggia’s Pinacoteca 900 in 2015; collective at the International art festival “ Ruid al sud ” at the Bari’s Mediateca Regionale, 2015; collective “Logiche dello spazio” at Studio 52 in Altamura (BA, Italy), 2015; winner in the First Biennial of Contemporary Art of Salerno Youth 2014 Painting section“; Globe Glotter Trinitapoli ” exibition (BT, Italy), 2010.
